Slough Furniture Project [Homemaker] Anti Poverty Charity was founded in 1994, on the Britwell Estate. SFP is an Independent Charity, our purpose is to help under privileged local people who are in receipt of any Government benefits.

We are the only reuse project for several miles that solely works with beneficiaries that are on low incomes and receiving state benefits.

 

All our goods are donated by the general public who live within a radius of 25 miles from our base.

Without the support of the general public donating their household items we would not be able to help these families.

 

We collect all types of furniture, any soft furnishings such as Sofas, mattresses and chairs [must comply with the soft furnishings fire regulations]. Bric-a-brac - clothing - bedding - kitchen utensils - books, ornaments - china - toys - baby equipment and small electrical items
